It sucks so much that other people's crapness has ruined your DJing, especially since there are so many people out there who have been crap. But it DOES have a good side - you won't have to see so much of Mike.

Of course, I WAS expelled from Coventry University, for about an hour. This was until I phoned them up saying "how dare you expel me, I've already paid this fine you're yammering on about*" and they went "Uh, forget that letter then."

Yeah, I remember that. I believe that, also, when you actually paid that fine, you were told by the Vice Chancellor that "I could still expel you, you know!". I'd ask, like, why, and for what? But as I've said, this is the Cov Uni administration. Nothing is supposed to make any logical sense.

Well, this is the university where, upon expansion of the Communication, Culture and Media department, they renamed it to.... the Communication, Media and Culture department. Someone in my lecture actually asked, upon announcement of this irrelevant information, "how many meetings did you have to decide that?". And no, it wasn't me.

Godd luck with the meeting chuck, sounds like they've just made a hash of it and need it sorting but don't let them off the hook too easily!

Sorry to hear about the rock night. No chance of salvaging it?

I've actually since had news about the rock night. They've given us one more chance to prove ourselves in the form of a one-off on February 28th. If we can get 50 people there, we can have our contract back. That gives us a month to promote the thing like hell. I'm remaining confident.
