i did badly on a midterm too. but i'm rationalizing to myself that it's only 20 percent and i'll hopefully be able to make it up.

Funny story. I learned basic french by tape so I'm basically french illiterate and am always surprised to find out what these words actually look like. The phrase "est-ce que" caught me completely by surprise.
