I'm glad that they came as soon as I ordered them. Sometimes, I can end up being so busy that I forget everything and everyone else around me. I'm sorry. I'll try to be more attentive as possible ( Read more... )

Groceries... Huh. Hold on, El, 'guess I'm gonna need a few things.

Okay, here we go. Mint-flavored floss (gotta keep these beauties squeaky clean), Aquaclean toothpaste (none of that Solgate crap), string cheese (damn good stuff), teriyaki beef jerky (more damn good stuff), and a 24-pack of fruit punch. That should last me a week or two.

Ahh, alright then. I also saw some "soda" for sale. I'll also get that for us in addition to the 24-pack fruit punch.

They've got lots of that soda stuff over in the store. Some of it sounds really odd. Like "root beer." What in the world is "root beer?" I've never heard of roots being used for beer.

I've heard of root beer once when a thief I know stole some from the school we were previously in. If you'd like to try that, I can get some as well.

Just as long as there's no alcohol in it. I've had one experience with alcohol in my entire life and let's just say that things got very, very ugly.

What're you grabbing for dinner, anyhow? We really should try cooking something sometime. Yeah, hell in a handbasket, I know.

That sounds feasible. Just as long as you don't get Hector near the stove and the oven. He can be our taste-tester instead.

Hector... Stove... Oven...

... ... ...

Uh, we have a fire alarm in the suite, right?

I believe so? I think that's what that circular object is that's stuck to the wall beside the kitchen window. It has a small blinking red light?

[ooc - haha, such primitive minds]

Oh, good. Just in case we have a cooking disaster and are knocked out by the smoke. Ehehe...

I wonder why it's by the window? Shouldn't something like that be put where it's needed, like on the stove?

I suppose it's because the fire can potentially destroy the alarm itself?

But putting the alarm by the window seems counter-intuitive...

Blah. Maybe I'll take an architecture class next semester. Maybe they'll talk about safety regulation stuff.

I can make sure Lord Hector doens't touch a single stove or oven, if you'd like.

I know I don't want any fires going on in here.

Oh crap.

Oh, you know, Hector. Same old, same old. We all know you'd rather eat than cook anyway, right? XD
