When it rains it pours...
Tuesday I was out exercising and I kinda fucked up my shoulder. Went to do a pull-up and it felt like my arm was being pulled out of the socket so I kinda fell off.
Stood duty Wednesday, which means I stand in a little room and occasionally walk around. Looking for fires, drunk Marines passed out on the lawn, and anything out of the ordinary. Mostly pretty boring. I read 4 magazines, 1 philosophy book, lapped the building about 20 times and slept on a couch for a couple hours for my rest cycle.
Then Thursday I went to the clinic and they x-rayed my shoulder and said I have to go to Bethesda and get an MRI. First available opening... October 14. Of course I said, “sign me up” what else could I do? I need the MRI to determine if they need to do surgery. If they do surgery I may not get out when I’m supposed to. And that means I’ll be in Maryland for much longer than I had planned. BOO!!!
Then there was today... woke up and went to Habubs. Took them shopping and picked up stuff for their house. Went on back and had lunch then the House Marathon. Thats pretty much it. I love those guys, Habub and Tasha, don’t know if you’ll ever read this but from the bottom of my heart, thank you both. You guys are a major help to me when I need someone to turn to and can’t turn to Rach for support. You may never know just what you mean to me. Thank you.
Speaking of House, anybody ever see NCIS? I want a job there sooo bad! That makes what like 5 jobs I want to have right now... NCIS, photographer, horse breeder, fire jumper and forest ranger. Funny thing is they’re nothing alike in any way. Oh well. What can you do? Pretty much nothing.
Speaking of photography. Last week I kinda shot a note to a photog back home named Charlotte Geary, who does these amazing outdoor sets and literally a ton of wedding sets, anyway I asked her if she might possibly be in the need of an assistant and she said she might next year which is when I plan on being home! Wouldn’t it be awesome to get a job with someone as talented as that and just sit back and learn? Well I think so... who asked you anyway?
Oh, you’re right, I did... ok.
Well I started this Saturday, but its kinda Sunday now. I should probably get to bed. Its late. Well early but you know what I mean.
