FUBAR
What a long day here. First of all I have to change accounts. The one that I am on is going to a different site so I have to move to another one. Same company just a different LOB. Monday thru Friday, 8 hours a day. But there is a problem with this. With these new hours I have to get a daycare center to watch the demon because I don't think my mom will do it for 5 days a week. But this gives me a chance to really move up in the ranks to be a supervisor.
I really hate this fire watch thing that John has to do. First off all just getting to the point we are now has been screwed up:
1. John goes and puts in his application and they tell him to come back on Friday for an interview
2. He goes and sits in the office for 4 hours and they tell him to come back on monday
3. He goes in on monday and they give him is drug test. Pass.
4. They told him they would call him to take the safty class the next day.
5. Two days pass and then they finally call and tell him he needs to have the course completed by 3PM (the time was 1:30 PM)
6. Goes to take the test and the testing place tells him that they don't have him registered till the next day.
7. Goes back the next day. takes the test. Passes. Calls the office and was told to be there at 6:45 PM to start work
8. John goes to the office and no one knows why he is there (because the person who he has been talking to left early) and they call the job site and they are closed
9. The next day he calls the office and was told to go to the job site at 7 AM today to start work.
10. He goes but can only work for a half of a day because the office told the testing place the wrong security settings for his badge. So he can't do his job because he can only access certian areas.
11. Can't call the office because they are closed on the weekends. Monday is a holiday and the office and testing place will be closed.
12. Will find out What the Fuck is going on on Tuesday
What kind of buisness, that has been around for 12 years....has this much confusion and crap when they are trying to hire someone for a not so popular position???!?!?!
Personally I think it is a sign that maybe he shouldn't take this job. Like if he does something bad is going to happen. Part of me says that I am being silly and the other half says that I need to take this warning and talk John into finding something else.
