Business trip!
I just got back from Orlando yesterday...ahhh 82 degree weather. I was there for the IHI National Forum on Quality Improvement in Healthcare. I attended a bunch of workshops and keynote speakers, met companies in the Exhibitor's room (and pumped competitors for info disguised as an independent consultant...hehe), and checked out the latest research in quality improvement.
It was really awesome...I went to gain market info and to scope out potential competitors or companies we could work with. I really enjoy this job...this is the first time I've actually completely liked what I do. I'm headed back to Orlando in February for a different healthcare conference (this one's in IT)...and I get to PRESENT! We'll have a booth, so I have to register, figure out what marketing communications/advertising to bring, what to demo, and present/demo products. May sound disturbing to some, but I LOVE doing that...so I'm really looking forward to it. :-)
