Vegas trip
Yeah, so I left up about $300 last year...and down $250 this year. :( We hit a hot craps table, but I just wasn't betting big enough...we're planning a trip to Windsor, Canada where we can hopefully have more luck. (maybe in March?)
* Played lots of craps at Casino Royale (cause it's a $3 min bet there as opposed to $5 everywhere else), some video poker and a few slots - no blackjack this year.
* Saw Cirque du Soleil's "O" show at the Bellagio - decided that though the people are talented, Cirque du Soleil sucks on the order of ballet and is too artsy for me. Wished I'd been playing Halo.
* Met Keith and Lois Stobie, friends of the family - Keith works for Microsoft and can apparently hook me up with all sorts of Microsoft stuff (including Xbox stuff) for really cheap! (like a year's subscription to Xbox live for $40!). Had a good time hanging out with them, but didn't get to go on the roller coaster at New York New York with Lois :(
* Rented a car with Rick and drove to Hoover Dam one of the days...which is dam impressive! (had to make the pun) It was a really nice drive and the dam is huge, with gorgeous scenery.
* Decided that next time we go, I should look up all the exhibits and events on the strip beforehand, so I know what I really want to see (the only good way to drag myself away from gambling for a while)
* Ate some of the best food ever...buffets with crab & Kobe beef, brunch with 3 courses, the Range steakhouse with steaks the size of your face...mmmm.
