So life's been Kind Of Crappy lately, and my computer's monitor broke, and I've been having very patchy access to my mum's computer. I finally managed to borrow her screen today and get to my scanner + photoshop, so here are a few inks, paintings, and sketches. Of various things.

I was in a Ling/Lan Fan-y mood (I nearly always am) and I had my watercolours out already? Whatever. It’s very emo. :D
WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH DURARARA!!: It’s a show about a headless horsewoman in a catsuit who rides around on an indestructible motorcycle and cuts people up with a giant-ass sword made of shadows that she keeps in her neck.
Also involves: the original Anonymous wielding a weaponised 4chan, /b/ in bishounen form, a really pretty bartender who throws vending machines around in his spare time, extensive character studies, philosophical hemes, and someone voiced by Mamoru Miyano.
I finished the first arc yesterday. This is my obligatory Celty fanart. ;)

It looks terrible scanned in, though. The lines are too thin and the paper has too much tooth (read: more than none at all). I think I’ll do my inks on printer paper next time.
The horse’s name is Dori (meaning hawk), and she’s a character in my (fifth) in-planning webcomic series, Absolute Zero. She’s the mount of the male lead, Kesou. :)
This is from ages ago, before I had a supertasticawesomesauce G-PEN (sparkles) and had just discovered Kaoru Mori. Who is amazing, bee-tee-double-you. :D
The initial costume designs for the female characters of Absolute Zero: Jharilouna, Mita-Louna, and Corez. I’ve simplified/changed them all by now, but the general style (read: epically thefted from Otoyomegatari) remains similar.
A note: these three are all court ladies. Jhari and Mita are the princesses of Kulinordia, the fantasy country where A-0 is set, and Corez was kind of adopted by the prince (Kesou). People not in the high circle wouldn’t dress so prettifully. >_>

The royal brats of Kulinordia, back when they were still bratty. Texture added digitally. >.O
There’s a bit of age dissonance here: Mita is supposed to be 5 or 6 years older than Jhari (in the present timeline, they’re 20, 19 and 14), but they look almost the same age here. I wasn’t really thinking when I drew it, okay. x_X
And as they are in the current timeline. Sort of. (None of the designs have even been coloured yet, let alone finalized.)
And to finish off, Mita-Louna on her Mighteh Steed, Houli. "Houli" means "fire". Houli is a bay tobiano. :D
