WOW
so....
I got to learn what it is like to have a MIGRAINE and a SPINAL headache all in one...
I did not leave my bed or be vertical for more than 45 mins at a time from thurs afternoon until yesterday( and that was b/c i HAD to be at work.. no more sick time)
My chiropractor kinda blew me off... after hurting me more than helping..
thank god for the neurologist... he listened to what was going on and prescribed me a nice healthy dose of Vicodin...
I guess my lack of theatrics over the spinal tap was good huh??( i wondered why the nurse and the dr kept looking at me funny.. and acting surprised when i didnt move.. LOL ) That Dr. never questioned me when i said i would rather have the needles back in my spine than deal with this headache...
After the Vicodin induced haze wore off i realized i lost quite a few days..and was not seeing any relief.. I called my old Chiropractor and went to see him in Grove City pa. well Mercer but i was never good with directions.
yeah.. i drove that far for some releif... well actually Matt drove that far..
Nevertheless he was kinda distressed at the amount of pain i was in ( and this guy has seen me since i was 9 years old the Dr.. not Matt you silly people!) and was able to help with the rest of the pain i had ( ie the numb hands.. etc etc)
So here i stand almost a week to the date and i am starting to feel normal....
sheesh..... For those of you who had one of these... i wanna know is that a typical reaction??
thanks for all your support all... yeayh... i said all waaaay too many times in that sentence...
Now bring on the presents.. LOL... i mean... i cant wait for the shower....
( i sincerely hope you all know me well enough to appriciate that joke)
ps-- if you have called me in the last week and have not heard from me... plz understand the amount of SHIT i have going on.. all calls were duely noted... and will be returned when i can go up/down stairs or sneeze without momentary lapses in conciousness...
