As you can see, I am succeeding in spending more and more time away from my computer. What have I been doing instead? I'm not really sure. But it's got to be better than sitting and staring at this screen for hours.
Last night, we had a lovely holiday party. My favorite part was when we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. It was glorious.
I have several pictures behind the cut, and the lyrics to a new song I wrote this evening.
Ben and Green always look so cute when I take pictures of them together:
Erin and Sean (or is it spelled Shawn?):
Green, Freshman, and Dave (who brought Uozo - tasty stuff!):
Steve and Juice, in a sober-person pose:
Blue with a tray of Jell-o shots (don't you love the weird reflections in her eyes? Hah!):
"Vivid" by Sarah Rogers 12/11/04
Last night, in my dreams, you came to me
On my forehead you placed a kiss sweeter than all the rest
And I never wanted to wake up to a lonely bed
When your graceful presence is swimming around in my head
Bittersweet fantasies of grasping your hand
But you tear away off to a vanishing land
Last night, in my dreams, you cared about me
I couldn't have been a happier figment of my imagination
And I never wanted to wake up to this loveless world
When in my mind my wings are unfurled
I fly up to the heavens to your angelic face
But each time I wake, I fall from you grace
Last night, in my dreams, you came to me
On my forehead you placed a kiss sweeter than all the rest
