You know in TV shows and cartoons and such when a devil appears on one shoulder of the main character and an angel appears on the other shoulder to give the character advice?
yesssirrr is the devil. Don't listen to her. Fluff is far superior to angst.
that's on you. but i know that after i read some good ol' heartbreaking angst, when i red fluff, i see rainbows and ducks-in-hats and all the great things that Brittany sees. i see the light, okay?
and i think that's better. hahaha
here, i wrote this over at nayaheather as a comment!fic. it's solid fluff. distract yourself:
Naya loves NSYNC. She can’t help it. Well, Heather apparently can’t help making fun of her either.
"Oh, Naya. Relax. Your love is like a River-a, peaceful and deep."
Heather waggles her eyebrows suggestively.
"That's all you want," Naya replies in mock indignation.
"Baby, baby. We can do all that we want. We're getting nasty nasty, we're getting freaky freaky."
Naya shakes her head but walks on over to where Heather is sitting who's patting the seat beside her, smiling wildly.
"Call me Lance, because I'm so gay fo-"
Naya takes one stride and bends down, effectively shutting Heather up and anything she may be gay for. With her lips.
Thank you for not making Carole a bitch, because this seems fitting. I bet Glee's totally going to prove me wrong about this come April, though.
Also, damn Dianna for looking beautiful even when she's crying.

but there's also a time when we need to balance things out with ANGST.
plus, think about it - the fluff is much much sweeter when your brain has experienced pain and heartache for these characters. no angst, no fluff.

And I really hope Glee doesn't make Carole a bitch. That would completely throw of the awful parent to awesome parent ratio.
