thanksgiving/ weekend update

Well Thanksgiving went off without a hitch.  There were some weather concerns.  After not having a drop of rain here for 2.5 months a storm system decides to come through on Wed and Thurs.  It rained all day on wed, on and off mostly, but still enough.  Wed night the skys seemed to be clearing, and I was having some conversations with the cloud spirits about the upcoming day.  I am shocked awake Thurs morning at 4:30 to a DOWN POUR.  My mind just starts thing of where I could put 28 people, then I calmed down and said to myself that it was still early and that there was plenty of time for it to clear out, just to have faith, so i went back to sleep ( to the sound of falling rain).  When i woke up at 7:30 it had just stopped raining and was still VERY cloudy with rain clouds.  I did some journey work and talking anytime I went outside.  I thanked them for the rain, but could they just go around my area today.     To make a long story short, the weather was perfect and no rain, at least at my house.  Just north of us was a major thunderstorm, as well as just south of us.  We had a few sprinkles after we were all finished eating that wasnt even enough to wet the ground.  It was a great evening.  The food was amazing, the company was even better ( the best part was a few freinds had the whole kitchen cleaned in 30 min).  After that the remaining of us crashed on the couch and just hung out for almost 2 hrs.  Takoda did great with all the people since it was his first big gathering, and Spirit was well behaved as well =)  My 8 yr old cousin had a blast with Takoda, she wanted to ride him ( she is 40 lbs) and she kept bringing him with her pulling him around by his head or collar.  He love it =)

The rest of the weekend was great.  Got to spend it with friends I had not seen in a while since they were in town visiting.  Avoided the stores.  I soooo didnt want to come back to work.  I have 3 weeks left till winter break ( 2 weeks off), I can make it =)

Hope everyone had a great holiday.
