mixed feelings
I am glad to see that Obama has won and am excited/curious to see what will be the fruit of it all. However with making a monumental turn toward tolerance in electing Obama, we have taken many steps backward here in AZ. Prob 102 passed with was a constitutional amendment to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The part that actually bothers me is a conversation I had with an African American coworker. She voted FOR the amendment because of her religious beliefs (which i can accept, the beliefs, not the vote) However she was so short sighted that she couldnt see that her vote was doing to gays what her "people" have fought so hard against. It is just sad to see how a religion can make someone forget that they are HUMAN first.
