Hey flist!

Woot!

So...once again, I didn't die...yet. And those of you who have friended elizabuffy as well know I'm back in Seattle and hanging out with her for the week!

So here's a quick update on the Phen!life:

1) It's summer now and I have resolved that (starting next week) I will get back to keeping track of my flist, reading it and commenting on a regular basis, and posting multiple times a day. I do miss you all :(

2) I passed all my classes once again, though one of them just barely.

3) Slate (my computer) was overheating like crazy and dying so I didn't have her for almost two weeks (another reason I haven't been posting), but she got fixed and came back to me yesterday all shiny again! Woot.

4) It's Pride week in Seattle, so EB and I went to watch the parade today on Broadway (and may go see the one at Seattle Center tomorrow also) and had a blast! They had the Dykes on Bikes and the Naked Fremont Bikers as well as tons of other groups. I managed not to buy a penis!necklace, but did get a spiked leather butch braclet that I adore (and think of as a nice anti-mugger defense system) and am planning on wearing to lab to scare the heck out of my students.

5) Oh yeah...I am TAing again for summer, teaching Digital Logic this time. Verilogger anyone?

6) Dante the mouse...is really smelly. PetCo recommended cleaning his cage weekly, but I'm doing it daily and my room still reeks. Any suggestions? I don't want to get rid of him, but I'm kinda afraid I can't live like this

7) Seattle has a company called Bliss Soaps. They're a total knock off of Lush, but have some really nice stuff! Plus they're WAY cheaper. (Though I'll still buy Lush of course ;^) Also? Bliss was having a buy one get one free sale today! Yippie! (Lushies-if you're interested in trying out Bliss, they've got some really interesting scents. Esp. Chocolate Brownie and Leather which smell EXACTLY like they sound!)

8) I've resolved that by the end of this summer I will have gotten my second tattoo.

And finally:

9) Guess who participated in her first WET T-SHIRT CONTEST last night? (At a lesbian bar even ;^) I figured since the girls are getting cut off in August they might as well have a little fun. I didn't win, but who cares? (The other really cool thing is that while there I ran into a friend (John) I knew in High School (in Montana) and who was also in the Honors program with me at Gonzaga (in Spokane). How cool and random is that?)
