This was so cool! I'm fascinated that you were able to reach within and find two plausible endings for the same set-up.

I was half-wondering if you were still going to kill Giles but save his soul in the happy version (well, given the circumstances I would have counted that as happy, too.) Which, if it'd work, would be THREE plausible paths off the same stem -- it's a heck of a stem.

I never worried about the deadline -- I always knew it would be worth the wait.

Just dropped by to let you know that my Death By athon entry will be WAY late. I'm in New Zealand right now, and my memory stick with my fic on it didn't get packed. So I'll get it to you as soon as I get back, which will be the end of June! So sorry hun :(
