Does anyone know where I can download episodes of House, Tru Calling, Lost, or Angel without joining anything? I don't really want to do Kazaa or Kazaalite either.

Do you have any kind of client that will allow you to download bit torrent files? I know you don't want to get a new programme but I don't know of any sites which allow you to do this without.

If you have a client or are going to download edonkey or azureus or one of those then let me know and I will send you some web links.

Good luck!!!

(I am feeling Eliza deprived...do Fox not realize what they're doing???)

I'm with you, at least with House. I would like to see some more House.

Totally unrelated comment, but do you know where online I could find Kane lyrics? I've been searching but failing.

I posted this earlier. I can help with those two episodes.

If you use bit torrent, I like this site. It's great for House (which is how I caught up on the season) and for Lost. It's not very good for older shows like Angel.

Woot! Thanks. I see it only goes back about half season, but still, it really helps out! (wish Bit Torrent were faster, but beggars can't be choosers...)

Try here. It's a bittorrent site that doesn't require registration, and usually they get stuff up really fast. I have downloaded episodes of Deadwood before they aired on the west coast because someone on the east coast already uploaded them.

For clients, I find Bit Tornado to be excellent. I think Bittorrent is the best way to go for tv shows (especially popular ones) because they download super fast. Also - the tv studios aren't cracking down on the hosting sites like the MPAA/RIAA are for movies and MP3s, so right now it's safe. Kazzaa pretty much sucks for downloading anything other than MP3s. One tv show might take a few days - whereas with a popular bittorrent file I can usually grab it within under an hour.

For Angel - I think there are probably a bunch of Buffy bittorrent sites out there you could Google for, if the site above doesn't have any or there are too few seeders.

Thanks so much! And I will try BitTornado. That's my one complaint with BitTorrent right now is that for me it's really slow which seems weird since my internet connection is good fast cable.

I've got some file I downloaded from somewhere called BitTorrent-3.4.2 that's doing my download of an amazing race episode right now...and it's only halfway done. Looks like total download time is going to be 7 hours.

So I'll definitely be testing out the other to see if it's faster!

Actually the client probably won't help make bit torrent faster. The only thing that makes bittorrent faster is the number of seeders/leechers (seeders are better though). If a file has 5-6 seeders, than it should go pretty fast. Lots of files have only 1 seeder though, and sometimes the seeder is on a really slow connection, so the download will take forever.

When i'm looking for files, I sort them by seeders and look for the top-seeded ones first.

Thanks for the tip! That's good news actually as Bit Tornado didn't work for some reason on my comp.

I honestly have no idea how bit torrent works...mostly from lack of every trying to find out ;^)
