First, I forgot to mention it before, but I saw the movie Sahara yesterday! It's fabulous! Definite A+ and I don't give those out that often. I mean as far as action, this movie has it all: violent and evil warlord, powerful and evil businessman, African rebels, plague, toxic waste, death and mayhem, gold and treasure, Civil war ironclads with canons, helicopters, camels, boats on land, jeeps in the water, jumping onto moving trains, pretty woman, attractive man, funny side kick, explosions, old cave paintings... how many more cliches can I name, really? ;^) And it's all great! From beginning to end, this is the quintisential action movie, and I love it! Some great hilarious moments too.
And you know what? If someone would like to write me some Sarah slash or threesome fics I would be greatful! *grin*'

In the interest of not making two posts, here's something completely unrelated.
I talked to my grandma today and started having this conversation with her. It's a conversation I've had before, and it baffles me. The woman is honestly convinced that, get this, computers are on the way out. "You can't find anything!" she complains of the internet. She believes that looking stuff up in a library is easier, and people will soon realize that. Plus the Internet *gasp(!)* gives people access to pornography and lets them do illegal things like stealing music.
Then she talks about how computers are getting harder and harder to use, and about how all they do is mess things up. She talks about all the accounting problems and viruses and stuff. I try to point out how much easier and efficient computers make things and that if people just back up their data it solves a lot of the problem. I mean, come on, do you KNOW how many more errors there were when people were keeping paper ledgers and how much harder it was to correct them?
She's even told me that she thinks pretty soon people will go back to using typewriters. *headdesk*
I don't understand this. I mean, okay, she's of the generation that didn't use computers, but, but...
Huh.
