It's been too long since my last update. A certain friend has reminded me how I never get on anymore. My reply? You try fitting in time for writing with two kids, a uni degree and a house that refuses to clean itself! LOL
I have a new car. We did a clean swap for the old one. The new one is much bigger with a huge boot and extra space around the girls. If for some reason we decided to have another baby down the track there is even enough room for another baby seat! James is clucky for another baby already but we've both decided it would be better to wait for a bit if we can...
Hannah has had a dreadful cold/flu type illness that has lasted since my last post! She got antibiotics that didn't take it away completely, and has been using asthma meds since then, but it looks to finally be easing off. I've gotten her into a routine where she only wakes 3 times between 7pm and 7am, which means that I am finally able to sleep!!! YAY!!!!
Jessica decided the other day that she needed underpants. She still doesn't have the hang of using a potty yet, but she's refusing to wear nappies, so we are battling on with the little "accidents". I'm hoping that everything will click in soon. It's been 3 days so far. This morning she stayed dry until lunchtime, so i'm hoping that means it will be sooner rather than later. Time will tell.
James had his hours cut recently at work, but his boss said that he might be able to get some extra hours in july. That will help a lot with bills. There's been many bills since we moved. Most of them have been related to the car because the guy that sold it to us kind of stiffed us, but what can you do?
I've been waiting impatiently for my last assignment to come back. I'm really worried that I might have failed. It won't be too bad if I have because I had one of the top assignments for the first one, but with the exam coming up... I'm hoping I do well so that if I flop on the exam I'll still get a reasonable mark.
In what little spare time I have I've been writing songs. I have a long list of compositions now, but I really need to write them down so I don't lose them somewhere in my head. I think Jess is sick of hearing them though. All she ever wants me to sing and play is "twinkle twinkle little star".
That's all for now I guess.
