Nyuh! (v 2.0)
I finally got my latest roll of Tempest pictures developed.
There's some pretty interesting pictures, including the results of 15 or 20 carburetor flame-outs (basically, what happens when the valves happen to be open when the spark fires. You get a small explosion and a nice little fire under your hood inside your carburetor), a torn-up distributor badly in need of replacement, and my back seat.
The car looks great from the outside, though.
It's got a vinyl interior (easier clean-up, heh), but is due for some interesting customization.
The biggest interior trick I'm planning is a pair of 3-axis power seats (full wrap-around leather is NICE) out of a Ford Mustang GT.
I'm going to dye the leather black, because black leather is always sexy in old cars, as are fiberglass-fill mufflers and side-routed exhaust pipes.
I still have to rebuild the motor, which will jack my volumetric efficiency up to nearly 80%, clean-up my exhaust, and crank my power output up to nearly 320.
I'm almost not unhappy today.
