A relatively stream of consciousness commentary on 6x22 "Time of Your Death" upon 2nd viewing...
Fast cars and loose women, yep this show is supposed to cater to guys.
Room search, drugs, Cath, Nick = bored.
"Why am I the guy who always has to sniff the shorts?" Oh David!
"I've been watching this (blonde making out with vic) for a while now." Oh Archie!
"Where was that on my wedding night?" Oh Doc! I love Doc Robbins; he's always good for a laugh.
Sara does not look happy to be talking to the vallet. Hodges, you are not Greg, quirky dispensor of random knowledge does not work for you. Way to smack him down Cath!
Pool hall= boring...Snarky Brass = awesome!
I love that the car salesman gets all the way through his spiel before looking closely enough to notice Sofia's badge. Smarmy bastard!
Why are we getting more Hodges instead of the regulars? Was this really necessary? See now Hodges should be taking notes from Greg on how to tell good stories. Tin foil body armor = luv! Hmm what did little Grissom play at being?
Well at least Sara's smiling now. I'm a little confused here. The 'recreation' shows the Spider rear-ending the Corvette, but Sara's taking all her pics of the front end. I suppose it doesn't really matter. Ah, and there's the rest of the accident recreation. This is the point last night where I started wondering when we were going to get to the GSR. One of the few spoilers that I've been unable to avoid was the fact that there was supposed to be some major GSR in this ep.
The graphics on that cell phone tracker program are pretty cool. I'm not a huge fan of the beard, but WP is looking fine in this scene, even if the stripes on his jacket thing do sort of make it look like he's wearing suspenders. I love that the camera keeps showing Sara and Grissom glancing at each other and then darting back to the boss man during the "Caprice" scene. I soo need the caps for that scene.
A film producer bitching about the media, snerk! He holds his own pretty well against Brass though.
"Some guys are intimidated by beauty; they fear rejection." The meta-ness is making my head hurt. Amused by the "not a whore" clause in the fantasy contract, and Archie's ass falling asleep.
That was such a cheesy speech the vic gave to the whale. Grissom speaks Korean? That's new isn't it? They did say the whale was from Seoul. They seem to be assuming that the vic had an idea this fantasy was just that, but I didn't get the idea that MovieMan had given him any clue.
More Meta-ness. Love the birthday conversation. OMG the eye contact, and Sara's little smirk...[speculation]They are so together already.[/speculation]
