Happy Fourth of July, everyone!
Justin and I went down to Coachman Park today at about 5. It was sooo hot down there. We had fun, fireworks started at 9:30. We pulled out of the parking lot at 10pm, and made it back by 10:30 due to traffic even though it's only about 5 minutes away.
Fireworks are beautiful. How can you not like them? Everyone has a favorite... but if you like one, really, you like them all. There's the ones that glimmer like stars, the big huge ones that go BOOM, the ones that look like it's raining sparks after it blows up (my favorite), and even ones that change colors... Each one has it's own beauty and amazement and sparkle. They're even more wonderful when you watch them with somebody you care about. I only wish fireworks like tonight's happened more often than just once a year.
But anywho, I guess I'm gonna go... Really tired tonight. Getting up tomorrow and going to Dad's, and to get my camera fixed. Well, not fixed, but the pictures taken off of them. *tear* Hope everyone's 4th of July was as good as mine was (for the most part... it ended up getting incredibly crowded down there, to the point where someone who loves crowds could become claustraphobic).
