Thoughts from the weekend....
Completely random things:
- Journeys should be the only place I go looking for shoes. Seriously, they always have good Pumas, the sandals I bought this weekend were kickass, and their prices are reasonable.
- I ventured into Hot Topic and bought something for the first time ever. That store creeps me out, but if you're looking for graphic t-shirts, there's no place other than the internetz to look.
- I watched two movies this weekend, both were bad. If I were to ever do drugs, I might try watching Speed Racer again, that was the trippiest movie I have ever seen. My eyes bled after having watched it. Indiana Jones was so completely over the top in every way, they should have left well enough alone.
- Texas Roadhouse really knows how to cook steak. That was some of the best steak I've had in awhile. Their rolls and butter combination was amazing, butter with sugar, brown sugar, and cinammon, oh so very, very good.
- Moviestop is the best place to go for movies in Richmond. Their prices are a lot better than anywhere else save for Plan 9 with my hookup and their selection is on point. Found a lot of good stuff there this weekend.
- Going to a birthday party at Laser Quest was more fun than I thought it would be. Granted we're far too old to be playing still, but doing a birthday party there for one of my friends was even worse! Winning a game as "Jon<3boys" and the birthday boy just happened to be named Jon was pretty awesome, though. We should probably tone it down a bit when we're with our friends' family, but that's how we are, completely over the top.
- Rob sucks a lot for planning to move away to Fredericksburg next July. At least when that happens, I'll feel like nothing is stopping me from going elsewhere, wherever that may be.
- Coming home to a sign that says, "I know you guys live here too, but I need you to be extra quiet this weekend" is fail.
- Sleeping for less than 7 hours is not a good idea.
- Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is a bit too much fun. Wing Zero is the destroyer of worlds.
- Battlestar Galactica is probably one of the best TV shows I've ever watched, Death Note is probably one of the best animes I've ever watched.
- Service writer is one of the most important jobs at my dealership.
- The Lotus Elise is the nicest car I've ever seen in person.
