My station is at minimum staff today due to vacations and one out sick. Had the following exchange via txt with my Battalion Chief this morning as we were starting our day:

Battalion: "You have a small crew?"

Me: "Yes, but it's not the size of your crew, it's how you use it."

All firemen are 12 years old at heart.
