That's 4 working structure fires in 2 months. That's like more than I've had in the last two years (at least). This last one was a room and contents we actually saved that structure.
A working structure fire basically means a house fire (or commercial building fire). As opposed to it being an alarm for a fire that turns out to be something else (False alarm, smoke from another source etc).
A working structure fire (a worker) is a house that is actually burning that requires water be put on it. They range from "room and contents" which is just what it sounds like, all the way to "fully involved" which usually means you're going to save the basement and that's about it.
We had a multi unit garage (behind an apartment building) that was struck by lightning, followed by an old "balloon" frame house that was unoccupied, and a house where someone poured gasoline all over the first floor and lit it off (after an argument with family). Those all pretty much burned down, the fire had been going for too long by the time we got there for us to stop it.
Most recently we had a room and contents that I was first through the door on. That one we saved, though there was extensive smoke damage throughout the house and pretty significant fire damage to the area it started. The house was still standing though.
