Tiiiiiiiiiired
So i just finished my crazy work week with 37 hours and one day off at the beginning and i'm pooped.
I had a pretty great past couple of days. Hmmm.. what's happened....
-i had a very good singing lesson
-I found a GREAT song at the library with some help from Hope
-i got ALL of the courses i wanted on qcard
-Work was hard, but i got LOTS of tips today. The day started out frustrating with some customers who were trying to scam me into giving them more than they paid for. (TWO people in a ROW!) One guy asked for an EXTREMELY elaborate smoothie (which i'm SURE i wasn't charging him enough for) and then wanted 2 cups, and coconut, and THEN he wanted me to make it into a combo and give him a panini for 2 dollars. i should have laughed in his face. Too bad i didn't think of it. THEN the next guy was short a penny (but not acutally as he had a 10 dollar bill in his hand). ANYWAY, he was short a penny for exact change so he said "tips?" implying that i should take some of MY money and pay for his drink. I was so shocked and appalled that i did it. and i gave him his $15 exactly, but i should've given him 2 twoonies and a loonie... DAMN i didn't think of that until he left. DAMN, next time. if he dares.
-I'm going to kingston tomorrow with burlington for the day. WOOT
-I had a nice long conversation with SBS last night. i was terribly lonely. she was less so. I also spoke to my sister.
OH and the most important news of all. SO today at work, the cute chef came by as i was nearing the 7th hour of my 7 hour shift. He started to order his smoothie, and then stopped. And looked me straight in the eyes and said "Gosh you have a great smile". I blushed, and said.."oh.. thank you" (oooooers). Then he ordered his drink, i asked him if he wanted his extra whey (he said no thanks). So we were talking/flirting while i was making his drink. thank goodness the store wasn't busy. Then as i was adding the yogurt, he said he saw me walk home a few days ago, but didn't say hi because i would think he was weird. and he didn't want that. I said "BAH, naw, i saw you walking a few weeks ago, by Satay on the Road, but i didn't say hi because i was inside and if i had said anything, it would have been lost in the glass window. He laughed and then said "Aww, you should have banged on the glass" and then he proceeded to do a demonstration to which i laughed (of course). Then i gave him his smoothie and he said he was off for the day. I told him he was lucky, and that i wouldn't be off for another half an hour (which was very true). Then he smiled and thanked me and left with his smoothie.
There was more said, but i was pretty much on a cloud so i can't really remember much else.
So that's the story. I'm interested to hear anyone's take on it. I'm hoping he comes in again and asks me out soon. I go back to school in 6 weeks. le sigh....
