Man, I must say that tonight was the most fun I've had at youth group in a long time. I arrived at the church after I got done at work, and we piled on the bus, and ventured to Abby's Pizza in Keizer, Oregon. While there, we ate pizza.. and drank beverages, then proceeded to play some rather intense video games, such as car racing. Then Andrew and I played a rousing game of the candy grabber game, and he won this little plastic airplane dealy after about 20 tries.. then I played and got a generic brand pixie stick and a really neat ruler stencil that I gave to Matt Taylor. My friend Stephen from work came to youth group!! That was so exciting, and I was finally able to come at the same time he was there.. so much awesome. So Stephen gave me and the homies these cool orange bracelets... yeah I'm gonna keep that on for awhile, it's pretty off the hook if I do say so myself. Afterwards we drove back to the chizzurch, and like 10 of us were sitting around, everyone else had left, and Jon Lawrence begins to do a model walk, and starts modeling different girls purses that were sitting on the table. THe funny thing about it was that he was good at it... it almost seemed as though he had practiced many times at home in the mirror.... Chris seems to have this natural model appearance... or maybe its the metro look I'm not totally sure. However I told him to do a model walk and He was a natural. Lots of laughs for sure. We're all standing outside and somehow we get on the subject of Pimp my Ride and how hilarious it would be to send in our church bus to the show and see what they could do with it. Oh yeah and how we should race the school busses on Windsor Island Rd. ANd how hilarious it would be if the cops showed up and then there would be a story in the newspaper about it.. and oh yes. we would laugh hard. We thought about adding hydraulics, but they'd take like forever to move, like 10 minutes for the bus to full go up. Oh man, I think it was one of those times when you had to be there.
Dear lord, I thank you so much for laughter, without it.. our friendships just wouldnt be the same.
