LIVEJOURNAL. I think it's about time you rose up from the dead, all Romero-esque, to claim your rightful place as social networking king.
Now, I have been meaning to do this for a long while, but what with all my word power going on various university projects, as well as sheer laziness, it has taken Jacqui's entry to prompt me.
I think my last entry was a nice place to leave that chapter of my life. Alot has happened since: I've moved house, gone through at least four haircuts, lost two more grandparents, vice captained the best five a side football team in the university and eaten over seven different types of muller rice.
I'm slowly stuttering towards the completion of my 3rd year of university, although the end seems quite distant as I'm currently bogged down in dissertation and scriptwriting. Nights out are becoming few and far between yet are always enjoyable. The last week has been spent campaigning for my housemate Beth to be elected Welfare and Volunteering sabbatical officer for next year. It proved successful as Friday night was spent celebrating as she won by over 600 votes, which was truly deserved.
She won't be the only one sticking around in Pompey for another year. If all goes to plan I will be doing a masters degree in Film and TV Studies, as it looks like there will be next to no graduate jobs about. I dreading the prospect of leaving team playfair, but the excitement of moving in with Jacqui should soften the blow. Before then I will have a summer of graduating, latituding and lauren-moving, as well as the possibility of travels to Germany.
Well, lovely old lj. You have been a fine repose from facebook. I'l visit again soon. I might even bring some friends.
