More 4 is showing all sorts of American election coverage, much to HB's bemusement. It seems we pay as much attention to the American Presidential elections as we do our own. I think it's because what happens in America matters much more than say, New Zealand or Wales

The German coverage is far more pervasive even than I remember the UK. But then the German media is incredibly politics-heavy; they were all really well informed about the Lisbon treaty debate in Ireland when I was still trying to figure out why anyone would ever even have to consider which way to vote.
