i am a cell phone geek.
nokia 7280- not released in the US...yet...
after a week of constant searching....
seen a bunch of internet retailers selling for 500 without plan.
seen a few retailers on the net/in person willing to sell phone with 2yr cingular contract for 360+
saw one retailer offer with tmobile 1yr contract for 450...
finally....
went down to my local (shown to me a few years back by cal) chinatown nyc cell store, and picked
it up for 150cash w/ 1yr tmobile rebate...AND a 50dollar rebate. hmmm...can we say woohoo.
granted it's an asian import and has no warranty of any kind...=/
phone doesn't do much, has a speakerphone, radio, bluetooth, but no dial pad!
let's see...i'm in the office so much that i can access "most" internet there.
i don't text that often.
i can get used to "scrolling" to enter names/numbers...
why not=)
