i highly recommend it. so beautiful and just awesome. i been to whistler, the other ppl that went w/me have been to vail and other places in CO, but we all agreed that banff was better... i mean maybe whistler is tiny bit better (it's hard to really compare, both are pristine), but i would definitely go back to banff in a heartbeat :)

hmm...the logic here is flawed. you say that banff= not as good as whistler...however, whistler is known for it's heavy "wet" snow. so if whistler is slightly better....than banff....then i'd say CO is still better. vail/beaver etc are all north side which= not as good usually....aspen is where it's at....inches upon inches of powpow...the real light stuff...not the wet stuff...

so based on that, i'd still have to say aspen=)

i didn't say whistler is definitely better. i'm not a good judge since i was still learning when i went there. the snow was fine when i went, maybe 2 seasons ago it was better? i didn't know it was known for its heavy wet snow, never heard that before. but i didn't experience any problems when i was there. well i don't know, i'm just saying i don't think anywhere can beat canada in general in north america. i'm not talking about just the snow quality i'm talking about all the factors which include scenery, challenge, environment, nightlife, value, etc.

if you want powder, sunshine village is CRAZY powdery (in banff)
