So, being that today is my next to last day, i decided i'd load up my car with the work computer and do the nice thing of returning it. So, i'm lugging the monitor downstairs, open the door, and slipped into my brown pumas. put the monitor in the car, came back in for the computer/keyboard/mouse...walked out, put that in my car. I then proceeded to walk back in, grab a bottle of water, grab my bag, and head back out.
I proceed to work, not worrying about much. I get to work, get out, grab my bag, and proceed walking to th elevators...all the while thinking about how weird it'll be dressing in suits everyday, which then led my mind to think "hmm, my feet sure are comfy in business casual mode." then i realized what had happened. I forgot to put my shoes on! So now i either throw on the super old black shoes i have at the office (they really are shit), or i proceed in these sneakers.....
brown belt- check
khakis- check
green shirt- check
yeah, think i'm gonna have to deal with the sneakers today=)
my boss will probably think i'm just being a jerk in my last day +.5
