[After all that insanity with Kurt turning evil, Kitty was more than happy to get out of the tunnels and take her turn babysitting Ororo for the night. So after an evening of chibi-wrangling, she collapses gratefully into her bed and falls dead asleep. The last thing she remembers is reminding herself to bring down breakfast for Rogue and Kurt in the morning.
The next thing she knows, she's waking up in darkness, lying on a pile of blankets layered over damp concrete. The tunnels. She could've sworn...
She gets up, looks around, and tries to remember how she got there. Something doesn't feel right. She doesn't feel right.
Then, she hears a whisper, so close it gives her chills. She reels around, trying to find its source, completely spooked when she finds nobody there; only Kurt - Graydon - asleep in his cell.]
H-hello?
[No answer, just her own voice echoing eerily down the tunnels. She fumbles for a flashlight as a second voice joins the other, then another and another, whispering so low she can't make out the words.
She flicks on the light and scans the cell with the weak beam.]
Is anybody there?
[Then, she sees her hands. Hands - not her hands. Not her arms, not her clothes. She gasps with terror, drops the flashlight, and shakily fumbles for the journal conveniently placed by the makeshift bed.]
...Rogue?
[Not panicking. Not panicking. So not panicking.]
