[It had been such a good day for Kitty. She'd gone for a walk in the woods, stopped to browse through the library and pick up a few novels, and had gotten a head start on her weekend homework.

She'd just changed into her PJs and settled into bed, ready to spend the rest of the night reading when suddenly, she wasn't in her room anymore.]Wuah

[Upon the ruins of the collapsed, impaled, crushed, and piled up bedroll and tent, Jack is not surprised when yet another citizen of Luceti ended up landing on top of it, though in a far softer fall than the previous two.] Um...hello, miss. Are you alright?

AH! [She bounces back to her feet and strikes a very amature fighting pose. You better watch out! She's totally an orange belt in karate.] Who're you?

[Despite the trials earlier in the day and his camp's decimated condition, Jack bows to the new guest.] You may call me Jack, miss. Also, I believe you are holding that stance incorrectly, your weight is too far forward and setting you off-balance.

Um. [That throws her off guard, and she automatically tries to correct it.] Thank you...

[She has no idea what's going on, so she'll just...play along.]

[Jack moves around his guest and peers underneath the fallen tent, only to pull out a straw hat that has been crushed beneath a donut-eating man, a priest, and the priest's large cross. He attempts to dust it off, only for it to crumble in his hands.] I take it you also do not remember how you arrived here?

[phasingly]

[She gives up the guard and resigns to just looking lost and confused.] I think I teleported.

That appears to be happening to many people today. [He looks over at the campfire that somehow seemed to have survived all the travelers appearing, and then to the Community Housing 7 signpost.] Might I ask how far is your dwelling from here?

[phasingly]

[She glances at the sign.] Oh! Community Building Seven. I live there. It can't be too far away, right?

[wanderer_jack]

[Jack smiled, ignorant of the hat debris that drifted on the wind to feed the more than happy fire.] Yes, it should be just up that path.

[phasingly]

I guess I'll go home then...[But before she does, she quickly surveys the damage to Jack's campsite.] Um. I'm sorry about your things, Mister Jack. I hope I didn't do that.

[wanderer_jack]

[Jack waved a hand dismissively.] You need not worry about that. Those who appeared before you are the cause of that. I am just glad that you were not harmed when you landed. Oh, I never asked your name, miss...

[phasingly]

[Kitty smiles warmly despite the circumstances, and decides she likes this guy. She extends her hand for him to shake.]

My name's Kitty. And I'm still sorry. This teleporting thing is getting way out of hand.

[wanderer_jack]

[He shakes the proffered hand though still bowing his head slightly.] I am afraid, Kitty, that it is likely only to get worse.

Well I hope not. Maybe you should move inside until this's over. If you're in a building they can't like, destroy your whole house.

I believe I am best postponing any search for a possible new home until after whatever is causing this mass of...teleportations, was it? [He peers over at the mud surrounding his collapsed tent. It was not like that was going to go anywhere if he was suddenly taken by whatever sorcery was afoot.]

I could at least help you put your tent back up. It's totally rude that the other guys just left you like this.
