So not all that much happened throughout the last week. Warm weather and sun were abundant, especially toward the later half and on through today.
One thing that happened yesterday, is I received a message that said "It Lives" from my mother. Apparently, after fixing a few fuel lines and cleaning somethings out (still lots more to clean and care for), the DeLorean is now able to start and run on its own. It doesn't run WELL, but it runs, and will idle. They drove it over onto the lawn, of its own power, to give it a bath. This is exciting news, as it means it is that much closer to becoming a reality and a driveable vehicle for me. Awesome. Now if only that new NYS title would show up in the mail, though its only been 4 weeks or so, and the morons think it will take 10. Oh well. Based on the fact that if I already had had it running, I would have been able to register AND title it on the same application, I would think that theres some way to get it registered even before the physical title arrives in the mail. We shall see, I may not even be ready to put it on the road before the 10 weeks is up anyways... The condition its in, the insurance costs, etc, have an impact on when I can get it on the road.
Anyways, like I said, the DeLorean progress is definately good news. I got a picture of it all clean sitting in my parents yard. I went to print it and one of the colors was empty in my printer and I had to replace it... I decided since they were all low, there was no garauntee which color did it, so I replaced all 5 (I had replaced the black cartridge not long ago, so that one didn't need replacement). Now I have a beautiful print of it, heh. It's in the photo book next to the rest of the photos of it that I'd printed before.
I got the motorcycle inspected on Saturday. I had the guy accuse me of being from the state inspection department, because he said by the looks of the bike there HAD to be something wrong / not inspectable, but he wasn't seeing it so he passed me. He was, of course, joking around with me, since the bike looks like ass right now (we're going to paint it soon, make it all nice and cool). I actually insulted it first, so that indicated to him that it was ok to do so as well, and it was, and it was funny. Now to get my car inspected, past all those emmisions and computer test bullshits, on Wednesday, since that also expires this month. I know its cutting it close, but it'll be all good, you'll see.
Seems I've run out of things to say.
Oh, I discovered the song that I listed in the "MUSIC" entry for today, through an Anime Music Video to His and Her Circumstances... the video was titled INSOMNIA, and is quite extemely excellent, for those who enjoy AMV's. I thank Tempest for finding this one for me.
