Anniversary!
Last week was our one year anniversary! We got out our wedding cake and a bottle of champagne that was given to us when we got married:

We also went out to dinner at a French restaurant in Durham, Rue Cler. They have a $30 prix fixe menu and had excellent vegetarian options.
General Stuff
This weekend was the gay pride parade in Durham, and we saw some super fabulous drag queens. We dog-sat the black pug of our friend, returning the favors he's done for us. Rocky (short for Rock Lobster), however, was absolutely insane and would not let us sleep.

Volunteering
We volunteered again this weekend for the Obama campaign. The objective has moved from bulk registering and identification / persuasion of Obama supporters to getting out the vote. We canvassed an apartment complex, and we got four people to volunteer! That was really fun, because most people aren't that motivated. Everyone we talked to was super pumped about Obama.
