[The first thing you get is an exaggerated sigh. Lilith is posting from the relative safety of her room.]
Why the hell are you morons still trying to explore the restaurants? Are you deaf, or have you just been ignoring the network?
[Seriously. She does not comprehend.]

[Not that Bryn's doing anything to help the situation. She's been hiding in Lilith's room with a mending broken arm and heavily bruised shoulder.]

[Clicking off her communicator. Lilith might say things she doesn't want broadcasted.]
I tried helping out and got diddly-- lost my arm and some of my toes. Unless somebody comes up with a plan that doesn't involve me playing martyr, I'm not gambling.
[She eyes Bryn's injuries critically.]
Besides, between you and Anna, I got my hands full.

Not saying you should be doing something. God knows I don't want to throw my friends into the thick of it...especially since you've already helped me and are...still helping me.
[She was, after all, grateful for all Lilith had done for her this week.]
It's just that it doesn't seem like anyone's organizing any sort of plan to figure out how to stop all of this. We know what caused it after all...

[Lilith takes care of her own. In a split decision she climbs onto the bed and scoots up comfortably, minding the broken arm when she offers hers for a cuddle, if that's what Bryn wants. Girrrlfriends do that sort of thing.]
The helping, I mean. At this point I'd like for everyone to stop getting themselves mindfucked. It would be a start.

[Bryn curled up against Lilith the moment she joined her and rested her head on the other woman's shoulder. The physical comfort was more than welcome considering that she was so used to having it with King around. But King wasn't around and...while she was pleased for the space, it didn't mean she didn't want someone to be there with her.
Bryn wrapped her good arm around Lilith's waist and sighed.]
I agree though...would be nice if people stopped getting themselves fucked over. We should really think about organizing some sort of...protocol or something when shit like this goes down again. A method to getting everyone food and such...something systematic, y'know?

[She thinks that over, scanning a mental list of people who would be glad to volunteer. Habitually fiddling with Bryn's hair instead of her own, she murmurs approval and trains her eyes on the uncracked dresser.]
Yep. Worth a shot. Less hassle than people taking nosedives into trouble with a big fat capital T. Don't suppose you know anybody who would step up...

Absolutely. I think that might be my next plan once all of this goes away...see if we can set up a ship-wide meeting to set up some in-case-of-emergency plans since....crew's not always going to be able to do that for us.
We've got to protect ourselves, after all. Plus it'll be good to get to know all the new people on board at some point...
[Bryn's not so great about getting out there lately and meeting new people.]

She nearly giggles her head sick, barely keeping from jostling the other woman overly much.]
That'd be one hell of a disaster, babe. I wanna see it.

I think that with certain people moderating discussions...it might not go as badly as you think. There are those of us who have been on board long enough that we have earned at least some right to be heard out completely.
At least, that's my opinion.
The people who care enough about keeping everyone safe will listen, and those are the people we'd want to reach anyway.

[Lilith goes back to hairpetting. The image in her mind of this theoretical gathering isn't as chaotic as her knee-jerk perception.]
I know we've got bleeding hearts aplenty... and those robot guys? Ironbutt whatsisname and his buddies, they've got like, some protector thing going on.
Reply
Lots of bleeding hearts, and lots of them who could make a difference. Imagine if we got them all to work together...especially if we had preset plans in place...
[She sighed.]
Thanks for taking care of me, Lilith. I really appreciate you sharing space...
[Especially considering that for all she knew, she was infringing on any potential "social time" Lilith might have otherwise had in her room.]
Reply
[Okay, it would be lying to say that she might not have been potentially been ~intensely social~ on this very same mattress if there wasn't a friend to look after. Buuut Mordecai can stand to keep it in his pants for a few days. Or a week.]
Yeah, that... would be pretty rad. Badass ship task force.

[Bryn looked up at her friend, a thoughtful expression on her face.]
And if not well then...we can at least come up with our own plan, I don't know.
[For a brief moment, Bryn wished King was there. He'd been part of stuff like this before with the Nightstalkers. His input would be pretty helpful right about then...
Ah well.]

[And probably offend eighty percent of the passengers in the process. Diplomacy is not her gig. Lilith grins at her so charmingly, though!]
If all else fails, we have each other.
[Will mock-flirting help Bryn?]
Reply
Yeah, if all else fails you and I can come up with our own contingency plan.
[She turned her head to press a chaste kiss to her friend's cheek. Bryn was feeling rather affectionate, and grateful for Lilith's company and support. It was nice to have people she could really rely on.]

It's even proven to work. Lookit history. Good cop, bad cop-- I stir up the tempers and by the time you pretend to force me offstage, they'll be so relieved that they might listen to anything.
[The hand that was working on the hairpetting stops, in the name of tucking some behind Bryn's ear, then resumes.]
