Tim stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of a blonde girl in something that roughly approximated his old costume. He was dressed in his own Robin gear, wandering the city and trying to see if anyone needed his help, but... what the Hell was going on here?

"...Robin?" he asked finally, after staring a full thirty seconds. His voice was confused.

Her head whipped around to find the source of the voice instantly. She knew that voice! Was it really...?

"Ti-- ... Robin." She caught herself. You never knew who was listening. It certainly looked like Tim.

"...What's with your outfit? Where are we? I thought your dad made you quit." Her voice held a tone that was either anxiety or panic. She approached him cautiously.

Tim frowned deeply. "That was... over a year and a half ago. I got him to change his mind during--" his voice cut off abruptly. During the gang wars, his mind finished. Where you faked your death. He shook his head sharply. "Anyway--I changed it." He gestured to his costume. "Last year when I was traveling."

"A year and a half..." What did he mean by that? It didn't make any sense-- nothing made any sense here. She held a hand to her now throbbing head.

"I haven't been asleep in that pod thing for a year and a half, have I? You'd think I'd have serious morning breath or something."Despite the situation, Stephanie was still a smart mouth.

She could tell that something was up with Tim. There was something he wasn't telling her. For now, she wouldn't push. Information overload was the last thing she needed.

Dean was walking along, trying to cool off. He was in a bit of a foul mood--a bit being an understatement. The reasons would probably mention some stuff about getting the crap kicked out of him by vampires, and how he was stuck in this futuristic hellhole. A while ago, Computer Bitch had turned everything off, and then later everything was back on again. He still didn't go to any clinic, 'cause he couldn't find one.

As he walked into the giant room filled with various plant life, he started to remember being here before. Dean glanced up to the sky that was a mockery of a real sky. When and how the fuck am I going to get back to Sammy? I definitely can't go back banged up like this.

Just as he looked up, there was a really bright red color standing out somewhere. For some reason he looked forward to see a blond chick in a superhero costume. Holy moly, Batman! It's a chick in a Robin outfit! What was going on here ( ... )

Steph got into a defensive stance when she heard the greeting but immediately dropped it when she saw what condition he was in. "What the hell happened to you?"

Caution? What caution? Steph rushed over to Dean and started checking him for any worse injuries. She wouldn't offer to help him, she'd help him without giving him a choice. This Robin was not as tactful as the others.

"What kind of a place is this...?"

He smiled the faintest of smiles. There was nothing like a woman's gentle touch. What the pretty lady would see were some bruises and minor cuts on his face. There were probably a few more bruises somewhere under his his shirt...not that he'd mind her taking it off much!

"You want the long version or the short version," he asked, a semi wise-ass like manner. Hey, he didn't want to moan and cry now. Dean was tough, flirtatious with the ladies, and if this chick was just a civilian straight out of a fan base convention--well, Computer Bitch sure did know how to pick 'em, eh? Besides, Dean thought of it kinda cool for girls to read comic books he read. Perhaps just this once he couldn't be upset with the main computer. Ever since arriving here he hadn't seen one female--until now. On the other hand, if she's a real superhero...Nah, I don't care who she is. Robin's long lost sister, whatever--she's a babe. One thing's for sure; he ain't ever heard of an actual female Robin ( ... )

"Short version please. Like my attention span." While she didn't lift his shirt up, she did press along his ribs gently, checking for any breaks. She'd whisper an apology if she hit a bruise that caused him to wince at all.

"So this place officially sucks and the missions sound like something Batman would come up with. I'm pretty much home already." she drawled. The sarcasm between the two of them was an obvious sign that they'd get along.

"You got a name?"

THIS IS SHORTER SINCE MY COMP ERASED IT AND I HAVE NO HEART TO RETYPE IT ALL D8 cranescarecrow May 3 2009, 03:18:08 UTC
Since his run-in with Dent and the Joker, Crane had decided it was in his best interests to become acclimated with this place as soon as he could. He had just stumbled across the library, but what really concerned him was finding a way to get the chemicals he needed to create and modify his fear toxin. He had enough to last him for awhile, if he was careful with how much he used, but it was absolutely necessary for him to find a way to bring those ingredients in. After the fiasco at the Narrows, he'd learned his lesson- an antidote certainly could be made, which had, unfortunately, saved many of the citizens affected by the toxin, although a large number of them had suffered from permanent mental illness, and many had even died ( ... )

Stephanie regarded him coolly with slight interest. She had never actually met Jonathan Crane and probably wouldn't recognize him without the mask if she had. For now, he was another human being as opposed to a talking computer.

"...Hello? Can you help me?"

Maybe he was trapped here too.

Jonathan glanced over her outfit quickly, before his gaze returned to her face, one eyebrow raising. All that he offered in reply to her question was, "An interesting choice of clothing."

Very helpful.

He, of course, knew who she was, although he had never met any of them. The manner of dress told him it was Robin, although he hadn't been aware there were any female Robins. Well, one learns something new everyday.

However, he found it interesting that she also didn't seem to know who he was. He might be able to use that to his advantage, for a time.

She rolled her eyes and huffed, "If I wanted fashion advice, I would have asked Stacey and Clinton. I need information. What is this place really and who are you?"

That was one of the downsides to being here with only the uniform to wear. Everyone knew you... you didn't know them. Maybe she'd be more incognito if she could get some regular clothes and maybe a glass of water.

Cissie was tired of being indoors, so she took her archery equipment and went to work repairing some arrows outside. She could have just had the computer replace them, but she kind of liked doing her own repair work. Besides, they were perfectly fine for practicing with, which is all she was able to do here anyway.

She found a patch of grass and settled in to work.

Robin stalked near the tree line, watching the girl. She didn't want to approach outright with that weapon in sight but she still wanted to know more about this place.

"Hey... what are you doing?" She called out from the dark cover of plant life. Before she went out in plain sight, she was going to make sure that she was talking to friend and not foe.

Cissie looked up in surprise, tightening her grip on the arrow in her hand instinctively. She wasn't sure where the voice was coming from, and she knew there were people here to be wary of. "Um. Just--some repairs. Hello?"

"Broken arrow, huh? So even if you are security around here... you couldn't go hostile on me?"

Robin leapt nimbly from a high branch that she had been perched on and landed in the grass in front of Cissie with her cape draped around her. She rose slowly, trying to look imposing... but failing.

"Hey there."

The suit would most likely be familiar to her, or at least the insignia would.

Hilde was also wandering... the blackout had sparked in her a need to get to know the other people in this complex. The computer had proven to be very much against them and she and Jeremie and Duo needed as many links as they could manage.

Wandering into the grassy courtyard, she caught the vivid colors of a girl in a... what looked like a latex costume.

"Ah... hello?" she stepped forward. The girl looked rather lost or just dazed. Hilde had been in her shoes before, if she was a new member of their community.

Robin took a reflexive step back before even looking at whoever had just greeted her. When she did, she offered a tentative smile.

"Hi... do you... work here?" Lost and dazed were both appropriate descriptions of her current state of mind.

Just how many people were stuck in this place?

Hilde chuckled "Ah, no... I and I guess I can say the same for you." her suspicions were confirmed, this was a newbie. "My name is Hilde Schbeiker. I have been ah...staying here the past month or so..."
