An interesting statement, and odd at the same time. The man playing was doing so with a great deal of emotional flavor. Soothing and mellow, high and full of jollity, Trowa's song seemed to have no end or real intended theme. Simply a means of expression which is the odd thing, since Trowa Barton was the first to announce he had no appreciable feelings to speak of.
Yet his song was heard for quite a distance, enticing any who heard it to follow the sound of a flute to the room Trowa had secluded himself in. It was a large library converted into a study or music room. It was vacant other than him, sitting on an elaborate cushioned bench facing the window to the garden outside and playing with a great amount of soul.
