Who: Dean Winchester, and anyone who'd like to join in
Where: Fused in NYC someplace
When: Now
Summary: It is a most peaceful thing, in which man and his pride and joy, the Impala, reunite.
Today was fairly quiet, to which almost never happened around here. But this whole place was the Ring, a place in which he could never feel completely at ease. He still wanted to find a permanent way back to his world, even though it was altogether very screwed to hell.
To be out and about in trying to find his way to what still remained of the main complex was better than just hang around the bar. He found a nifty gadget somewhere in a small storage room. A new map was there of the entire mess of the Ring. It was so simply capable to operate for a person such as himself who would occasionally forget how to change the ringtone of his phone. At least the computer bitch showed some mercy.
Eventually Dean walked down a road and gaped at a large black vintage car in which he thought about every now and then. He could feel his heart skip a few beats as he approached his black 1967 Chevy Impala. It was his alright, upon looking at the current license plates. He could see the large plastic container of cassette tapes through one of the back windows, on the floor by the backseat.
Dean rested a hand on the cool metal surface of the Impala. "It's so good to see you again," he spoke to it. "You have no idea what I've been through without you."
He opened the front door to the driver's side, and took out the key that had never left a coat pocket ever since he first got phased into the space ring. As a matter of fact, he couldn't bother to give a damn as to how and why his car got here. Instead, Dean was just happy to have his baby back, and that it was working like it should when he started the engine. The Impala purred as she came to life, so very pleased to see him again.
Dean dropped the navigation device on the passenger seat and started to pull out into the right lane, away from the sidewalk. At the moment he was going slow, due to the traffic. Maybe he'd find someone he knew or maybe give a fine looking woman a ride if she asked nicely.
