Noin hadn't known for HOW long she had been caught in what she could only describe as limbo, hanging in space, hanging in...time. In...
Her stomach unloaded what she had left as she tried to miss a tree and yet grapple its bark for support as she heaved. Oh how her head swam - it was worse than being so drunk you puked. It was worse than over-dosing. It was everything nasty you could think of, coupled with the drugs that Crane had childishly unleashed into a plethora of skunk spray.
Wiping drool from her trembling lips, she looked up, her eyes glazed. God...where the hell...?
Her first thought was an old text book about the Cretaceous period - broad leaf ferns, enormous in size and...
Her head slowly tilted to the side, even as she felt a very dull rumble and could have sworn she heard talking.
That tree...is a big tree...
She couldn't have sounded more drugged to anyone else than she did to herself at that moment. It was all very...odd, really. Aheh.
She groaned and held her head, quickly looking back down at the ground as the world swayed again, and colors started to brighten violently. "This is worse than being on morphine..."
He wouldn't have even looked if it wasn't right on his heal, practically. He heard somewhere that you weren't supposed to move with dinosaurs, but then there was no telling how accurate that was!
"Oh shit!"
A step behind Toph, and he was running from that giant jaw of gnashing steak knives, thankful for his lithe form and all that running practice. Suffice to say, running was his specialty.
Ashitaka's eyes grew very wide in the realization as to what was upon them. Well, it introduced itself so definitively. He had scarcely heard Toph's uncharacteristic shriek when his feet were already moving, carrying him away, pulling Iroh with him. "Hurry, this way!" Into some heavy forestry, the large animal would be slowed down by the uneven rock and large-trunked trees of the woods.
Running. Toph hated having to run away. If she could get the others clear, she might be able to do something about the monster. Maybe rocks to the face and shaking earth might scare it off.
She wasn't as fast as Duo, unfortunately. Blind earthbenders weren't suited for fleeing. And she was short, too, so she was falling behind Duo a bit, and the thing was gaining.
More noise, more disorienting sounds, and Noin's world was swimming, it couldn't have been worse at this point. The bark she had clung to for support while she unloaded yet again what remained of her stomach was sharp and cutting. Thick.

First the meeting, then some time later with some sort of toxin.. a room and... Her mind was sufficiently fried, and she couldn't have been more useless if she had two left feet.

Holyfuckit'saT-Rex. That meant a very strange thing had happened - they had ended up somewhere in Cretaceous period, either that or someone had actually been conducting secret experiments in order to create a theme park all centered around the world's favorite dinosaurs.
The plants, the environment. No. This was all Cretaceous period. Shit! Noin's brain froze and she clung harder to the bark, staring, her breathing forgotten and paler than before as colors warped further with fear, but the world froze as adrenaline kicked her upside the head.
He was aware of what was going on, for the most part. He wasn't about to just leave Toph behind, but then again, he was under the impression she was capable, that she was a super hero. Apparently that didn't mean she could outrun a T-rex.
A quick draw of the gun, he looked to Toph then the dinosaur, "Toph!"
He started running back for her, firing off a few bullets at the dinosaurs face. Probably felt like a few rubberband snaps.
"Dig a hole!" Duo he shouted as he moved. Use the beasts size against him.
Well, if she hadn't been worried about knocking him over or burying him, she would've just ridden a wave of earth to safety. Hmph! That said, short blind girls were short and had small legs, which made running all the more difficult.
At Duo's yell, she whipped around, sliding into her stance easily, then 'bending the ground just in front of the dinosaur not down, but rather, straight toward it in spikes, hoping to let its own momentum knock it out for the count against them.
Just in case, she 'bent up a pit just after the spikes.
He could commend her ability later, right now he was wondering if he could shoot out that thing's eye ball. Worth a shot, or two. He took aim, staying right where he was.

He looked back once he heard Duo's yell. "Wait here." he stopped and about faced, leaving his charges in a safe opening in the trees. When he surfaced from the forest, the monster was thrashing against a spiked rock plane that had pierce it along its chest.
