[Closed Thread] There's A Mouse In the House And We've Run Out of Jell-O!

Jul 19, 2009 23:13

Who: OU Helena Campbell, OU Valentine
When: Couple Weeks after Valentine has been phased in and moves in with Helena. Sometime in the early morning, before noon.
Where: Their apartment.
Summary: Valentine and Helena have been living together for a few weeks and boy it's made for interesting. So here is just a brief example of a day in the life of Helena and Valentine living together on The Ring.
Warnings: Be prepared for radical amounts of silliness and down right childishness.

Helena was shuffling around in a large over sized white shirt, baggy striped pajama pants, and a pair of bunny slippers. She managed to figure out the computer system enough to get just what she knew she would feel comfortable sleeping in. Made her feel a bit less out of place in bunny slippers. She had just woken up and was coming out of her room into the living room and then into the kitchen on the hunt for a bowl of cereal. As far as she could tell there was no sign of Valentine. Probably somewhere in his room.  She was dragging her feet into the kitchen when she ran across a candy wrapper. The crinkle under her toes caught her attention and she looked down. She rubbed her eyes and noticed as the world looked a little less fuzzy that there was a trail leading around the corner towards Valentine's room.

She bent over and slowly and steadily picked up all ten or so wrappers and chucked them into the trash. She had a mind to go into Valentines room and dump them on him but she was far too tired for that right now. She had stayed up late drawing again, trying to add onto the City of Light. She had decided it needed some new residents and a few more mask shops with nice old ladies who hand out free cakes. She laughed to herself, reached into the cabinet above the counter for a bowl, drawer for a spoon, fridge for milk, different cabinet for cereal.  She poured herself a bowl and sat down on the living room floor in front of her other random sketches.

She crunched silently to herself when she heard something coming from Valentines room. Was that... chittering? She stopped chewing and tilted her head a bit towards Valentine's door. Silence. Oh well. Helena shrugged to herself and went back to munching whatever it was she was eating. It resembled cereal, that was good enough for her.

When she finished she set down the bowl and spoon and started going through all the pictures.
