Not good. Brainiac 5 zipped through the air, above the Square, and the boy with the elk as he observed the broadcast on the giant screen. His purple eyes flashed as he analyzed the wavelengths. Given a moment or two, his instruments should be able to pinpoint the location of the signal wireless, even with this primitive 21st century technology.

Got it.

Now he observed the scene before him. Several hostages and a mad woman. He had only two choices before him. Presume that the woman had no ulterior motive and seek her out to foil her sick and twisted plot, or find out what kind of game she was playing. Something also clicked, a moment ago when he flew over. He looked down at the boy below and sought out eye contact. Was he attempting to engage this situation as well? Brainy could use that.

He flew down to meet him. "Are you going to engage this situation? Otherwise I may ask you to return to the complex and retrieve more suitable assistance." His tone suggested his flexibility in the matter, even if Ashi was beyond primitive, by his garbs Brainy would guess another 1000 years in the past. Regardless, he was possibly very skilled and very useful. Not that he couldn't take care of the situation himself. He felt working as a unit was much more efficient.
