Blisters Day
Boy what a day!
Hectic? Heck, more than that!
Today was 'Bring Marco at the airport' Day. His flight was at 12:20PM.
He was staying at my grandparents' so me and my mom go out at 9AM to pick him up. Usually it takes 20 minutes to get there. Today? 1 hour.
It seems cars were out in force today and we spent 15 minutes keeping still in Pza Firenze, there were trams, public transportations, taxi, cars... at one point even an ambulance!
Insane.
My grandpa called on my cell to know where we were, and we learned that my grandma would be coming with us... oh joy. She's quite loud, perpetually criticizing everything... at the airport it was quite...err... entertaining.
We got there, can't find a parking spot. So we park where there were no blue lines but still paying the fee hoping all would go well.
We enter, ask for the ticket and they send us to the check-in.
40 minutes of queue to get face to face with an hostess that was a total klutz.
Didn't get Marco's first name right, asked my mother if she was his grandma, kept coming and going asking what she should do... lol!
In the end, the hostess that should have accompanied him showed up and she was so quick. There were other kids too (one lil girl could have been no more than 3...who sends a 3 years old girl on a plane on her own?!?), she marched to the boarding, told the kids 'Say Bye!' and that was it, lol.
We had to wait for 30 minutes after the flight took off for procedure and then out again, bring grandma at home... mom by that time was getting fed up with the car, so she left it at my grandparents', we took the train and she went to work while I got to Cadorna.
It was 2PM and since he was on break I decided to call dad. He works at Cadorna and I ended up eating lunch with him, his boss and 2 coworkers... it was interesting :P
His boss is weird... he acts really sophisticated but says things really silly and gross. Weirdo. lol!
So I met the guy I'm always burning CD for... dad always comes home asking me 'Can you burn this for Max?'. Finally I have a face to go with the name and voice :P
It was a decent day all in all, but I got home completely burned out.
I put on closed shoes in case mom needed help and I had to drive, and the result was a bunch of quite painful blisters on my feet. I'm hurting. So much. Miaow! :(
The eventful day prevented me from doing an HP post with the news :P
I'll just keep commenting around and wait for something else to come up!
All I've got to say: JKR is a sadistic devil. LOL!
