So far, it feels easier than EO1 or 2. That's not necessarily a bad thing...I mean, there's no "gotcha" event like the poison moths that are relatively VERY difficult slamming you first thing.

I didn't read much on this game before release, I figure I'll try playing through this untainted.

Wow, you are right, this is one PRETTY game. I am still farting around the first stratum. I've been enjoying the ship exploration and ignoring the labyrinth. Oops! So far, I can't get EXP from all my ship trips so all my dudes are really low level.

I took on an F.O.E. sort of under leveled. But yay I can make this awesome lance for my Phalanx if I get enough money!

I'll import the US version(wow, that sure feels funny to say!) so we can swap F-codes. Yes, this game has online co-op! Yay!

I hope the sub-job system fixes one of my major complaints about this series, namely how easy it is to ruin characters. I'm so afraid to assign skill points besides the basic Mastery, stat up and HP/TP ups(save my farmer who was BORN to harvest!)
Maybe that's why I am so underpowered right now. Time to save up 1300 EN to buy that awesome lance though, that item almost triples my attack power!

There is a LOT to this game so Atlus might take a while. Still, it'll be worth it. ^^
