Food Drive in Memory of Katelyn
As many of you know, we lost a dear friend and wench of Local 42 in this past off season - Kathleen Martin, or Katelyn as she was known at faire. Katelyn was a generous soul that will be dearly missed.
To acknowledge Katelyn’s generous soul, we, the wenches of Local 42 and friends of Katelyn, are holding a food drive this Saturday, September 26, at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Food collection will occur outside the Season Pass Holder Gate from just prior to gate opening until noon. The food collected will be donated to a food bank in Katelyn’s name.
So please, take the time to grab a couple of things from your pantry this Saturday and bring it to faire to donate in Katelyn’s name.
