Since DoJo worked, we taped last nite's show. But it's very good! Last week, one of the dances made me cry.

The first several weeks, viewers call in for the fave couples. The 3 couples with the lowest amount of votes are called the Bottom 3 (Couples). These Bottom 3 Couples then do solo routines of their own design to impress the judges (or JIIgeez if you Cat Deely). The judges go backstage to discuss and a musical act performs. When the judges come back, they get rid of 1 guy and 1 girl. Sometimes, this is a full couple (that's what we've had so far this season), but they can split up a couple. If couples are split, then the remaining partners are paired together.

After the herd is thinned, then viewers' votes are all that are considered. I can't remember if we still vote for couple and then, when there are fewer dancers, the individuals or if we vote directly for the individuals.

Even without seeing the show last nite, I'd be very surprised if the judges didn't end up splitting a couple tonite.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought that they would split them up, but just figured that hadn't happened yet.

Hmmm, yes, I could see them splitting them up after last night. I'm interested in seeing who the third couple in the bottom is.

Oh and Twitch and Kherrington's routine made me cry last week. That was incredible.

Yep, that was it. I couldn't remember who did it, but watching the choreographer talk about his daughter was heart-wrenching.

It was Kherrington and Twitch. They were in the long flowing white outfits. And they just danced it beautifully and you knew that they were dancing it for more then themselves. They were dancing it for the choreographer, for his daughter.

So, who I thought would/should go home did. I was right on the money. But I'm not saying anything more then that as I am not sure if Casa de Johnson has caught up as DoJo was working on Wednesday night.
