The Obligatory Friends-Only Post
Because I do not want my casual personal writing publicly accessible when I start teaching, I think it's safest to guard this semi-published life. I'm doing it now so that I don't have another year of backlogged entries to retroactively tag as Friends Only, especially since protecting the existing posts took me more than four hours.
So: a slightly more privatish journal, starting today!--and I mean it in the Friendliest way possible: as long as I have some inclination of who you are, and you seem to be a reputable person, I'll add you.
