Work, work and more work.

So those of you that don't know, I got a job working overnight stock at Zellers. It's pretty good, but very tiring. I have eight hour shifts 2-3 days a week. Last week was my first week, and it was pretty rough in terms of hours because I'm not used to it. To be on your feet for 8 hours is a lot, I think. I'll shortly get used to it. So, I worked 2 nights last week and I think I'm getting a handle of the way things work there. It seemed like information overload the first night. I was a little worried about not getting it all because I need to use an LRT gun to count stock, find prices and print tickets with (which also needs a rascal to print the tickets out). Break wise, it's really good. 2 hours, 15 minute break. 2 hours, 30 minute lunch. 2 hours, 15 minute break. 2 hours, go home. So yeah, my feet get sore quite a bit. I used to have problems with my feet being flat footed but that doesn't really come into play with this. My callases hurt and the center of my big toe hurt at the end of the night. I think all the physical work is making me lose weight which is great. I work tonight, tomorrow and Saturday this week. The supervisor I have to work with thinks he's hot shit, as the other supervisor said. I'll see how that goes. Everyone there is very nice, a million times nicer than anyone at Wendy's. So yeah, I get paid on Thursday which is good. I'll probably pick up a CD or two.
