(no subject)
I haven't posted in here for a while, but I guess that wasn't really the plan in the first place.
So, now that I've invalidated this post right off the bat, I might as well do some sort of status update thing. Like, what's going on in my life or something.
I've been spending a lot of time with my Software Engineering group. We put in 12 straight hours of coding last weekend and 8 hours of coding yesterday. I'm not sure how healthy that is. It's a lot of fun though- not only do we have the best product name (MOFDiver), we also have the coolest product logo (Stinky the beaver) to go along with it.
I don't need to explain it to you, do I?
Political Science is also an interesting class, even though it's too long (2 hours is too long for any lecture) and depressing. For most of the lectures, we watch a variety of selected short videos on topics such as globalization (there will be no jobs for us when we graduate because all the corporations will have moved to another country), class differences in the United States (the majority is trapped in near poverty, the rich keep getting richer), United States foreign policy (laundry list of failures), and the greed of corporations.
On the bright side, it's made me less angry when I hear about an absurd new law congress passed, or the relentless greed of corporations. Because, hey...that's just how it goes. Power corrupts, and they've got the power.
I guess that covers school, which is the majorty of what I do during the day. I went surfing this weekend with noah and got some good pictures. I'd like to title this one Don't Believe Other Pictures, This is Real Ultimate Perfection
