So, I've seen the first three episodes of Person of Interest. I didn't really expect to like it ... except for oh, yeah, look at all that slashy goodness and potential for angst! And I've just realized . . . It's Quantum Leap! Every episode, Reese is sent into an unknown situation by a mysterious entity. He has clues but mostly has to figure out for himself what the mission is. And he has an observer who watches over him and has access to a lot of information but essentially doesn't physically intervene. *hearts*
